1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

1.1. “Competition” shall mean STADIO Springbok Access Giveaway Competition;

1.2. “Competition Period” shall mean 14:00 pm on Friday, 20th February 2026 to 23:59 pm on Sunday, 31st March 2026.

1.3. “Participant” shall mean any entrant into the Competition and any person with whom a Participant may share a prize (in the event that you win a prize which is for you and one or more additional persons (“your partner”);

1.4. “STADIO” shall mean STADIO Higher Education, a registered private higher education institution with the Department of Higher Education and Training, servicing around 40 000 students across a wide range of qualifications in both distance learning and contact learning;

1.5. “Promoter” shall mean the South African Rugby Union (“SA Rugby”), SARU House, Tygerberg Park, 163 Uys Krige Drive, Plattekloof, Cape Town, 7500, South Africa;

1.6. “Grand Prize” shall mean access for the winner and a guest of their choosing to the Springbok training session at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Friday, 03 July 2026, as determined by the South African Rugby Union.

The “Grand Prize” winner will be determined randomly by lucky draw by an authorised representative of the Promoter at the conclusion of the Competition Period;

 1.7. “Winning Entry” shall mean an entry which qualifies to win a Prize in the Competition as described in paragraph 4 below.

1.8. “POPIA” refers to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013, a comprehensive piece of legislation designed to regulate the processing of personal information. Its primary goal is to balance the right to privacy (enshrined in the South African Constitution) with the need for the free flow of information in a modern economy.

1.9. “Responsible Party” shall mean the South African Rugby Union (“SA Rugby”), SARU House, Tygerberg Park, 163 Uys Krige Drive, Plattekloof, Cape Town, 7500, South Africa;

1.10. “Operator” WMG Management Europe Limited trading as Wasserman Performance (company number 13621120)

1.11. “Cross-border Transfer” refers to the movement of personal information from a "Responsible Party" (an entity based in South Africa) to an "Operator" located in a foreign country in terms of s72 of POPIA.

1.12. “Personal Information” is defined as information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and, where applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person (such as a company or organization).

1.13. “Processing” any operation or activity (or any set of operations), whether or not by automatic means, concerning personal information.

1.14. “Data Subject” the person to whom personal information relates.

2. GENERAL ENTRY CONDITIONS

2.1. No late entries will be accepted;

2.2. The Competition is open to South African citizens or permanent residents over the age of eighteen (18);

2.3. The following persons are excluded from this Competition and may not participate:

2.3.1. a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to SA Rugby;

2.3.2. a director, or employee of Stadio;

2.3.3. a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Competition, including promotional partners, printers, advertising and promotional agencies, professional advisors and staff employed by or contracted to the Promoter/s marketing service providers;

2.3.4. the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of the people or entities referred to in 2.3.1, 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 above.

2.4 The prize may only be awarded to participants who are 18 years or older.

3. HOW TO ENTER AND WINNER SELECTION

3.1. During the Promotion Period, users visit https://sa-rugby-partners.partnerships-hub.com/stadio/en/landing. Entrants must enter first name, last name, email address, date of birth. Country/region and gender fields (if displayed) are optional and not a condition of entry. When all foregoing steps of the entry process are complete, entrants will automatically receive one (1) entry in The Competition.

If an entrant completes the optional survey, they will be given ten (10) additional entries into The Competition.

3.2. Qualifying Participants will be included in a list of entrants that will be automatically entered into a lucky draw to determine Prize winners.

3.3. The draw will be conducted by an independent person as required by the Consumer Protection Act and Regulations, within 96 hours of the Competition closing.

3.4 The Promoter will retain an independent person’s certificate/attestation and draw records for at least 3 years.

4. PRIZES

4.1. “Grand Prize” There is one (1) prize for one (1) Winning Entry. The Prize consists of attendance by the winner and one guest at a portion of an officially designated Springbok training session, subject to SA Rugby’s high performance, security and operational requirements. SA Rugby reserves the sole discretion to determine the specific session, date, time and location; the duration and nature of access; whether any player interaction, photography, autographs, recording devices or content creation are permitted; and any health, safety or security protocols (including device lockers and no recording zones). Access may be amended, restricted, or withdrawn at any time should team operations require it, without liability to the extent permitted by law. Travel, accommodation, meals, insurance and incidentals are excluded unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by SA Rugby. Winners and guests must comply with all venue and team conduct rules; SARU may remove or refuse access to any person who fails to comply.

4.2. Prize winners will be notified via email and/or phone within seven (7) working days of the Winning Entries having been drawn.

4.3. The Promoter reserves the right to re-draw for a Prize and award a Prize to someone else in the event that the Prize winner has not responded to three (3) attempts by the Promoter to communicate with him/her.

4.4. No Prize will be awarded unless or until verification of each Winning Entry is made by the Promoter and the Promoter is satisfied, in its absolute discretion, that the criteria for a Winning Entry and the Competition’s Terms and Conditions have been met. Should the Participant not qualify to receive a Prize, the Participant acknowledges that he/she shall be required to forfeit it.

4.5. In the event that a winning Participant is either uncontactable or in the event that a winning Participant rejects, or declines acceptance of the Prize, the winning Participant forfeits the Prize, and the Prize shall be subject to a new draw.

4.6. Should a Participant win a Prize, the Participant undertakes to expeditiously do all things necessary to enable the Promoter to comply with all of its obligations including but not limited to, providing such personal information as may be required in order to facilitate the awarding of the Prize.

4.7. Prizes are not transferable and accordingly may not be exchanged for their cash value or sold.

4.8 The results are final and not open to further correspondence.

4.9. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the Prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide winner. The Promoter may require you to provide it with additional information as it may reasonably require (including proof of identity and/or proof of residency) in order to process and to facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a Prize.

4.10. The Promoter does not make any representation or give any warranties, whether expressly or implicitly as to a prize, and in particular, without limitation, makes no representations and gives no warranty that a prize, or any aspect thereof, will:

4.10.1. meet the Participant’s requirements, preferences, standards or expectations; or

4.10.2. be satisfactory and punctual;

4.11. For avoidance of doubt:

4.11.1. winning Participants will be required to pay for any additional expenses that are not defined as being a part of the Prize; and

4.11.2. Winners (and guests) may be required to sign a reasonable waiver appropriate to attendance at a high performance environment and to comply with all health and safety instructions. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss; liability for direct loss is excluded where not caused by the Promoter’s negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the CPA. Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter against losses arising from their breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or failure to follow instructions, except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence or wilful misconduct.

5. GENERAL TERMS AND INFORMATION

5.1. Participation in the Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Participant.

5.2. The Promoter/s, its respective directors, affiliates, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage, including but not limited to physical harm or death, howsoever arising from or as a result of a Participant’s participation in the Competition or redemption of a Prize in terms of this Competition, or from any amendments to Prize details and/or the terms and conditions of this Competition. All Participants (including the winners) hereby expressly indemnify the Promoter in this regard and shall hold it harmless from all and any claims arising from or as a result of the above reasons.

5.3 These terms are entered into by the Promoter and the entrant. The Promoter has engaged the services of WMG Management Europe Limited trading as Wasserman Performance (WMG) (company number 13621120) to assist with the running of this Promotion, the collection and management of data and the selection of winners ("Data processors").

5.4 Wasserman Performance (located in the UK and US) have created a dedicated Sponsor web page on their site (https://sa-rugby-partners.partnerships-hub.com/stadio/en/landing)  for the entry page and terms and conditions for this promotion.

5.5. The Promoter may reasonably vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the Competition (or any part of it) due to operational, safety, security or high performance requirements, or events beyond its reasonable control. Where required by law, a suitable alternative of equal or greater value may be offered. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, the Participant agrees to waive any right, interest and expectations that he/she may have in terms of the Competition and acknowledges that he/she will have no recourse against the Promoter.

5.6. Amendments published in any media, or on the SA Rugby website on www.springboks.rugby will form part of the terms and conditions of the Competition, to which terms the Participants agree to be bound.

5.7. Personal information will be processed only for: eligibility verification; conducting the draw; contacting winners; prize fulfilment; required record keeping; and, where separately opted in, SA Rugby marketing and STADIO marketing. Retention: Personal information will be retained for a maximum of 12 months from the end of the Competition Period unless a longer period is required by law or for legal claims, after which it will be securely deleted or de identified.

5.7A Marketing consent: A separate, unticked tick box will be provided. Marketing consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time without detriment.

5.8 Sharing: Personal information will not be sold and will only be shared with the Operator, sub operators and SARU service providers under contract, and regulators where required by law.

5.9. The Promoter shall respect the confidentiality of Participants' personal information and will not sell or distribute such information to any other party without the explicit consent of the Participant, except where required to do so by law.

5.10. The Promoter shall request the Prize winners’ consent in writing to their name, image and likeness being used and published by the Promoter in connection with this Competition for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they are announced as winners. Prize winners will not be entitled to any payment or remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the Promoter.

5.11. The Promoter reserves the right and at any time at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason or notice, to vary, modify or amend the Competition’s Terms and Conditions as the Promoter thinks fit. The Promoter may (i) extend any time limit or waive any of the terms where (ii) terminate or suspend the Competition at any time due to supervening circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control (iii) substitute a Prize deemed to be an appropriate replacement and of equal or greater value in the place of any of the Prizes (or any part of a prize). The Promoter may reasonably vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the Competition (or any part of it) due to operational, safety, security or high performance requirements, or events beyond its reasonable control. Where required by law, a suitable alternative of equal or greater value may be offered.

5.12. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Promotion form part of the Competition although, in the event of conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail over all such other instructions, rules and conditions. All advertisements depicting the Prizes and prize descriptions are illustrative rather than definitive.

5.13. The promotion will not be advertised in a way that targets minors.

5.14. Participants have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of their personal information, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Requests: privacy@sarugby.co.za.

5.14. SA Rugby will implement appropriate, reasonable security measures and notify affected Participants and the Information Regulator of qualifying data breaches.

5.16. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute may be submitted to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, and the parties’ consent to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Western Cape Division, Cape Town.
